Meet Our Leadership
Welcome to Volusia Lodge No. 77 F. & A. M. and the Majestic 13th Masonic District. Our purpose is to take “good men and make them better”.
This is achieved though mentor-ship and individualized study and research.
Masonry offers a “working philosophy and a practical rule of life”.
As Masons we spend our time purposefully serving our God, our family, and our fellow man. We believe in being active members of our community and upright citizens of our great country. When applied properly to a man’s life Masonry’s only outcome is a positive one, enriching not only to his own life but the lives of those around him.
Volusia Lodge No. 77 — 2025 Master’s Message
Welcome to Volusia Lodge No. 77 F. & A. M. and the Majestic 13th Masonic District. I would first like to thank all of our Brethren for the pleasure and confidence in allowing me the privilege of being your Worshipful Master for 2025. It is an honor and responsibility in which I hold in the very highest of regards. We will strive, to continue the growth, of Volusia Lodge No 77 and represent our Lodge and Fraternal Brethren, in the manner, in which those that have come before us, and those that continually stand beside us, have preordained.
My Masonic Journey, began in this very Lodge as a child, with My Dad and numerous relatives being Freemasons. It was a privilege to have been initiated as an Entered Apprentice in 1986 and as sometimes happens, life obligations interrupt our best intended plans, so it wasn’t until 2022 that I was able to fulfil this lifetime dream, of being raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. The regrets from all of those years in between, are that I missed out upon some of the great friendships and honors that accompany this wonderful fraternity. The lesson is that, it is never too late, to give up on your hopes and dreams, of which I am a living testament.
In closing, we all share the same dreams and visions for the continuation of Freemasonry and our Lodge in particular. As we move forward, it is my goal to continually endeavor to seek wise council, which will promote meaningful dialogue, and decisions, that will benefit our Lodge and Brethren during the upcoming year and future.
